Name Change

We love the name Transfair. However this name is heavily associated with TransFair e.V. the association that is giving out the Fairtrade seal for Coffee, Chocolate and co. Therefore we decided to change it. Our new name? Fairlink. We create a fair connection, a fair link.

Redesign of the Website

On www.fairlink.it you can find a newly designed website. Our goal was to convey the central information in a well organized manner. A lot less text. It is not perfect yet. Please feel free to voice your feedback either by responding to this email or using the feedback widget on the left site of the website. Also let us know if you want to leave a testimonial on the website.

New Process

We have analyzed our workflow and set up a system that allows us to offer our services to more customers more efficiently.

Startup Chile

Fairlink has been selected to participate in Startup Chile. In this context we receive 40k USD to develop our business further. Stephan is living in Chile since one month and is going to stay at least 6 months more.

Institutionalization

We set up a German company under the name Fairlink UG (limited liability).

Team

We just hired Stephen Leendhertz who lives in Indonesia and will assist in the development of Fairlink. In case you lost track: Stephan is working out of Chile, Francois will be working part time from Switzerland, Julia is supporting us out of Berlin and Krish out of Paris. See the team here.
